A distraught Malagasy woman carried her listless toddler to Koffi, a Mercy Ships volunteer from Benin. The child’s skin was hot to touch. It could be malaria, but the child’s mother had no money to have him tested at the local hospital. Koffi had limited financial resources but knew he had to do something.
