Marie had a large life-threatening tumor that kept her from being able to eat or even breathe properly.   Then she received a free surgery onboard our hospital ship in West Africa to remove it.

 The country of Liberia had just come out of civil war.  Mercy Ships volunteer Patti said, “A whole generation had never been to school. They needed vocational help.” So, Patti got involved by teaching courses to help community members get back on their feet.
